What can I say about Florence and Stuart…well, let’s start from the beginning. Florence is a pretty talented wedding photographer herself. I know her through our social circles, Facebook and wedding fairs. So when it came time for her and her Fiance Stuart to start looking at booking wedding suppliers, I was genuinely humbled and honored that they chose me to capture their wedding day.
On quite possibly the most hottest day since records began, Flo got ready at the cricket pavilion in Egerton. The amazing duo of videographers that are Carrie and Ryan from Talking Fly were there on the day too, to create yet another awesome wedding video. Once the Flo and the Bridesmaids were ready they took a walk up the hill to St James Church in Egerton where an anxious Stuart was waiting for his bride to arrive.
The service was a beautiful one, and there weren’t many dry eyes in the church…Florences included. A beautiful touch to the ceremony was one of her bridesmaids singing a song during the signing of the register.
After the church we all headed off to an orchard/farm run owned by a family friend for the reception. The way it had been set up was stunning and had a real English country wedding feel to it. Bunting, pom poms, a band, bouncy castle and a bbq, it had everything. First up were the speeches. the ushers did a grand job and had everyone in stitches. Once the speeches were done it was food time. It would have been rude not to try the food and I’m glad I did because it was scrumptious. I sat outside and roasted in the million degree heat of the sun.
We finished our day with some portraits in the garden of the main house. The owners had had it especially landscaped for the day and in the setting sun it made a perfect backdrop for the portrait session.
Anyway, enough jibber jabber from me, let’s see some photos!
