I love shooting at new venues. I’ve been shooting weddings for over 5 years now and even now Im surprised but how stunning some of the little hidden gems can be. The Gardens at Yalding are one such place.

Set over 12 acres, the Gardens were not long ago restored and in addition to the barn a tipi was put up. It makes an absolutely perfect venue to have your entire wedding day in. Lisa and Rob got married outside in the centre of the gardens. The guests sat in a semicircle around the wooden gazebo. Even though it was a hot day, being an outside wedding meant that it wasn’t overly hot. Even inside the tipis didn’t get too hot either as the sides of them come off to give the guests a lovely view of the gardens whilst eating and drinking.

Lisa and Rob are the two cheeriest people I have ever met. Rob has the most amazingly infectious laugh that you can’t help but end up laughing too. It was a beautifully warm sunny day when they got married and they hired a singer to serenade their guests during the drinks reception.
